BSA-CAMP focuses on the economic and environmental justice issues related to access, incorporating projected changes in beach size and availability. Our analysis will fold into a Beach Sustainability Assessment (BSA) including social science, ecology, and the physical changes projected for beaches.
California Beach Resiliency Plan (CBRP) is a new interdisciplinary initiative for helping communities address SLR, beach loss, and the social, ecological, and governing factors that determine the resilience of beaches. Funded by the California Ocean Protection Council and led by The Ocean and Coastal Policy Center at UCSB.
